— Republican Sen. Mike Enzi of Wyoming, one of six Finance Committee members charged with putting out a Senate healthcare reform bill, finally admitting publicly that Republicans are “negotiating” with the sole intent to destroy. That Republicans have no ideas about healthcare reform has been apparent from day one. Hence, genuine compromise is impossible; all they can do is water down and kill. Fittingly, the admission came in response to a question from a townhall-attending right-wing constituent, outraged that Enzi would even sit down with Senate Democrats.
