I finally got around to reading this excellent NY Times exposé, which was published and featured prominently on their website over the weekend. An all-around fascinating — and often horrifying — must-read.
Unfortunately, the lives and livelihoods of other animals received zero attention in the feature’s legal/moral/scientific calculus. In this way alone, the article stands on the side of negligent polluters, regulators, and politicians.
