HERE

The only lesson(s) Democrats need to take from last night’s elections:

Execute. Everyone who supported you in the last election is de-energized because they think you can’t deliver. And who can fault them for thinking as much?

Corollary: Stop being wimps. You cower before a minority party that is intellectually bankrupt and socially ridiculed. You compromise endlessly and work ever so hard for that one Republican vote that you think makes your policies look bipartisan. (Note: it doesn’t.) Republicans lost power not because they did whatever the hell they wanted, but because their policies are not just ineffective — they’re undeniably destructive.

First on the agenda: Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (Spineless-NV) must stand up, or he must stand down. I vote for the latter.

Late Update: As always, I am only endorsing Democrats insofar as they are leagues ahead of Republicans.
