I imagine it must be harder for the fascist right wing to sneeringly deride the judges of, you know, a good old non-coastal, sufficiently American state like Iowa, as compared with judges in a marriage-hating, tax-and-spend, atheist and/or Catholic, commie, pinko, coastal state like Massachusetts. Sure, Massachusetts has one of the lowest divorce rates in the nation, but hard facts shouldn’t get in the way of real Americans’ hurt feelings.
